Project Name: Hispanic Leadership Network
Description:

Hispanic Access Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that, among other initiatives, supports Latino faith leaders through its Thriving in Ministry initiative, the Hispanic Leadership Network (HLN). The initiative seeks to develop a mentoring and leadership development network to support emerging, midcareer, and experienced Latino/a pastors and faith leaders serving rural and urban communities across the United States. The program engages faith leaders who have been closely involved in Hispanic Access’ initiatives while gradually incorporating new participants from communities across the country, helping them become more fully connected and supported by their peers. Program activities include in-person gatherings and retreats; participation in regular small group meetings with peers and mentors; and professional leadership development webinars. In addition, faith leaders are encouraged to implement community-based events within their churches or neighborhoods. Through this initiative, Hispanic Access seeks to strengthen a sustainable peer network that equips Latino/a faith leaders with meaningful relationships, resources, leadership development opportunities, and ongoing support to help them thrive personally, professionally, and in their ministries.
